San Marino attracts tourists from all over the world drawn by its natural beauty, its picturesque surroundings and its exceptional views.

From the top of the Towers and the great square in front of the Governement Building (Palazzo Pubblico), the view  dominates the region of Montefeltro and the green Adriatic Sea. 

Annual events include the ceremony of the investiture of the  Regent Captains on 1st April and 1st October each year, and the National Foundation Day on September 3rd.
