Quorum: the referendum passes and the law is repealed / Land: returns the qualified majority. Covenant and industrial beaten
The opposition had been deployed along with the organizing committee and therefore in favor of the referendum question. The majority on the contrary had been hanging posters in which he called to vote "no."
The government also was with the majority and had sent a postcard to San Marino for explaining the theme of the referendum question and the reasons of the law against which the referendum was being celebrated. Postcard however contested by the organizing committee has also suggested that a complaint. And in the end they won, yes. Ben 13,330 voters of which over 92% ie 12,166 have just marked the box "yes."
And now what happens?
The law allowed the sale of state land - under certain conditions - only a simple majority (ie 30 votes) was repealed and now returns to the previous condition, ie, requiring a qualified majority (ie, equal to 2 / 3 advisers, and then at least 39 votes).
The San Marino were then asked to cast vote contrary to the majority that rules the country.
And if we take the data for absolute value, the total "yes" is also higher than the total votes cast in the Pact for San Marino in previous elections in 2008 (11,371). In short, for a majority that has since also lost three members, the reflection is certainly imposing.
