Bureau Foundation CARIM: Pasquinelli unrivaled

Pasquinelli has virtually no competitors in the reappointment as President of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Rimini (Carim), which owns 70% of the – now commissioner – Banca Carim, who owns 100% of Credito Industriale Sammarinese, Institute of the Republic of San Marino.

This derives from an article in Il Resto del Carlino.

On paper, the elections could prove more difficult since there is Carim Foundation. With the bank commissioner in October, the CIS (the San Marino bank controlled by Carim) in waters to say the least troubled, and voting for municipal Rimini in May that is looming. In practice, however, there should be no surprises, because Massimo Pasquinelli is the only candidate for president of the Foundation Carim.

Yet his reappointment to the top of the building Buonadrata promises anything but obvious. Why the trouble of Harim have left their mark, and because opponents of Pasquinelli still hoping to find a competitor in time for the elections. It will not be easy because the elections are upon us. The mandate of the council, the supreme body which appoints the President and the Board of Directors of the Foundation, will expire at the end of February. And within a month, a month and a half at most, there will be a renewal of the vertices.
