San Marino signs its 20th T.I.E.A

San Marino signed in Paris tax information exchange agreements (T.I.E.A) with Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Denmark, bringing up to 20 the number of this kind of agreements signed by the Republic of San Marino.
It was the 100th T.I.E.A for these Nordic Countries, so a ceremony has been organized to celebrate the event.
Antonella Mularoni, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, took part in this ceremony, stressing the importance of these signatures that represent a further confirmation of the renewed international consideration of the Republic, a recognition for the efforts made by San Marino in order to comply with OECD standards, fighting money laundering and starting a new era of collaboration and transparency.
Mularoni added that negotiations for this kind of agreements, have already been concluded with other 16 European and Extra – European Countries and the Republic of San Marino is expecting only the date of signature.
Next T.I.E.A. will be signed with United Kingdom.
